Connecting your Gong account is an important step in unlocking the full power of Opine. Call transcripts provide critical context to Opine AI enabling it to better summarize deals, give competitive analysis, and provide actionable next steps.
Connecting Gong
Visit your Opine organization integration settings to initiate Gong's authorization flow:

Navigate to the Gong integration settings in Opine
Click Settings at the bottom of the main navigation
Under Organization click Integrations
Click on the Gong integration

Click to connect
Click the Connect button in the top right:

Authenticate with your Gong credentials
The Gong user installing the integration must sign in to Gong with the credentials of a Technical Administrator.

Authorize Opine to connect to Gong
Your authorization will grant these API permissions to Opine:
Retrieve basic call data such as title, duration, and spoken language, and extended data such as interaction stats, list of speakers, and main topics of conversation
Retrieve user data such as ID, name, and phone number
Retrieve a call transcript
How it works
Opine will look for calls associated with the deals in your connected CRM every 12 hours. The results of analyzing evaluation activity, combined with data from other integrations and Gong call transcript analysis, is available to Opine AI for generating summaries, recommending tasks, answering questions, and more.
