Notion
Link Notion documents for AI-powered summaries and create Requests linked to Notion database pages.

Overview
Connecting your team's Notion workspace unlocks the full power of Opine. The integration supports two powerful capabilities:
Document Linking for AI — Attach Notion pages to Deals so Opine can automatically summarize documentation, extract context, and surface insights during a Proof-of-Concept.
Request Ticketing — Create Opine Requests that are linked to pages in your Notion databases, keeping your team's workflow in sync.
Once the integration is configured you can:
Attach specific Notion pages to Deals so they appear in the File Center.
Generate AI summaries of long-form documents to accelerate onboarding.
Ask questions about linked documents in chat experiences.
Create new content (e.g. Document Templates) using Notion context as grounding data.
Create Requests linked to Notion database pages with editable properties.
Opine only indexes the pages you explicitly link, giving you precise control over which content is shared with AI.
Configure
Take these steps to configure the integration.
Authorize the Notion integration in the organization settings
Grant access to pages and databases
Map Notion databases to Opine request types (for ticketing)
Connect
Authorize the integration to get started with installation.
Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Notion inside Opine.
Click Connect to launch the Notion authorization flow.
You'll be redirected to Notion where you can review the requested permissions.
Click Select pages to continue.
Select the pages and databases you want Opine to access, then click Allow access to finalize and return to Opine.
The Notion user who authorizes the installation will be credited as the creator of Pages when Requests are created from Opine. See Page Creator Attribution for recommendations.
Permissions Required
Opine requests Read and Write access to your Notion workspace:
Read — Access page content for AI summaries and document linking
Write — Create and update pages in databases when using Request ticketing
Update Page Access
Opine will not automatically have access to pages added inside previously authorized workspaces. To grant access to new pages:
Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Notion inside Opine.
Click Update File Permissions to re-open the Notion page-selection dialog.
Select additional pages or databases, then click Allow access.
General
To use Notion for Request ticketing, you must map each Opine request type to a Notion database.
For each request type, select the Notion database where pages should be created.
Configure which page properties are visible and editable in Opine.
Click Update Configuration to complete configuration.
Requests cannot be tied to Notion pages until all Opine request types have a database mapping.
Create Requests Linked to Notion Pages
Once configured, you can create Requests that are automatically linked to pages in your Notion databases.
Open the Requests view in Opine.
Click Create Request and select the request type.
Fill in the request details and any configured Notion page properties.
The Request is created in Opine and a corresponding page is created in your Notion database.
You can edit the Notion page properties directly from within Opine. Changes are synced to your Notion database.
Note: Request status is not currently synced to Notion. See Request Status Sync for details.
Link Documents to Deals
Use Notion pages as context for Deal analysis and AI-powered insights.
Open a Deal in Opine and navigate to the File Center.
Click Add Notion Pages and select the pages you want to link to the Deal.
Alternatively, click Link to file and paste the URL of a shared Notion page.
Future Deal analysis will consider the document content until it is removed from the File Center.
Caveats
Request Status Sync
Opine Request status is not currently transferred to the Notion Page. Work is in progress to support mapping Request status to a Page property, allowing you to keep status synchronized between systems.
Request URL
The Opine Request URL is not currently transferred to the Notion Page. Work is in progress to support mapping the Request URL to a Page property, making it easy to navigate from Notion back to Opine.
Page Creator Attribution
When Opine creates a page in Notion, it is attributed to the user who authorized the integration. Consider creating a dedicated Notion user (e.g., [email protected]) to authorize the installation. This ensures:
Pages are consistently attributed to a service account rather than an individual
The integration continues working if the authorizing user leaves the organization
Clear identification of Opine-created pages in Notion
