Overview
Connecting your team's Notion workspace unlocks the full power of Opine's AI. By linking key pages, Opine can automatically summarise relevant documentation, extract critical context, and surface it exactly when your team needs it during a Proof-of-Concept.
Once the integration is configured you can:
Attach specific Notion pages to deals so they appear in the File Centre.
Generate AI summaries of long-form documents to accelerate onboarding.
Ask questions about linked documents in chat experiences.
Create new content (e.g. Document Templates) using Notion context as grounding data.
Opine only indexes the pages you explicitly link, giving you precise control over which content is shared with AI.
Configure
Take these steps to configure the integration.
Install the integration in Opine.
Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Notion inside Opine.
Click Connect to launch the Notion authorization flow.
Check the permissions.
You’ll be redirected to Notion where you can check the requested permissions.
Click Select pages to continue.
Grant access to pages.
You’ll be shown a list of pages that you can select.
You can select individual pages or whole workspaces.
After selecting the pages, click Allow access to finalize and return to Opine.
(Optional) Update page access later.
Opine will not have access to pages added inside previously authorized workspaces.
You can update the page access by clicking Update File Permissions on the Opine configuration screen, which re-opens the Notion page-selection dialog to update access.
ℹ️ Opine only sees the specific pages you select or share – nothing else in your workspace is accessible.
Permissions Required
The Opine app only requests Read access. We never write or modify content in your Notion workspace.
Linking Documents to Deals
Open a Deal in Opine and navigate to the File Center.
Click Add Notion Pages and select the pages you want to link to the deal.
Alternatively, you can also add Notion pages by clicking Link to file and pasting the URL of a shared Notion page.
Opine will ingest the content, generate an initial summary, and make it available for AI workflows.
You may unlink a document at any time from the File Center menu – the content will be immediately removed from Opine.
