Once your Evaluation has been created, you’ll return to the deal page, where you can customize the plan to fit your customer’s specific needs.
To edit the Evaluation, click on the Pilot tab of the deal page:
We recommend that you organize your Evaluation into structured phases. Phases provide structure to an evaluation and clarify the status of the project.
Common phases include:
Prerequisites: Tasks like signing NDAs or provisioning accounts to ensure readiness.
Execution: Key activities such as workshops, feature demonstrations, or testing.
Outcomes: Deliverables and success criteria that finalize the Evaluation.
You can add, rename, or remove Phases to fit your specific process.
For each phase, add measurable Success Criteria from the Criteria Library or create new ones. Success Criteria generally map to the features or outcomes the customer is evaluating, such as:
“Integration with GitHub pipelines”
“SOC 2 Compliance”
“Real-time dashboard performance”
If you prefer, you can also import criteria from a spreadsheet:
Click New item
Then, Import Criteria from spreadsheet
You can also customize the Evaluation plan by adding:
Meetings: Schedule key interactions like kickoff calls, workshops, or progress check-ins.
Tasks: Assign work items to your team, such as provisioning access or preparing materials.
Sections: Use sub-groups to organize related tasks or criteria within a phase.
With your evaluation created and customized, there is one last step before sharing the pilot with the buyer.
