Last updated 2 days ago

Once your team is actively using Success Criteria in Plans, Opine helps you track how those Criteria are performing across deals. The Criteria Metrics report gives you visibility into how often each criterion is used, how buyers are rating them, and where improvements may be needed.

You can find this report under Trends → Criteria Metrics in the left-hand sidebar.

Pro Tip: Many Opine customers invite Product Managers to Opine to review Criteria Metrics and Requests, which is helpful for building the roadmap.

What the report shows

At the top, you’ll see a summary of how your Success Criteria are performing:

  • Exceeds expectations

  • Meets expectations

  • Partially meets

  • Does not meet

These scores are based on buyer ratings collected through the Buyer Portal.

Below that, the report shows a ranked list of your Success Criteria, including:

  • Criteria name

  • Number of plans it’s been used in

  • Average score based on buyer feedback

  • Rating count for reliability

How to use it

The Criteria Metrics report helps you:

  • Identify top-performing capabilities that resonate with buyers

  • Spot common pain points, underperforming areas, or criterion receiving mixed reviews

  • Improve product messaging or validation steps for Success Criteria that aren't landing well

  • Guide roadmap discussions based on what buyers consistently expect or challenge

You can also filter the data by timeframe or use the sort options to see your highest or lowest-rated Criteria.

This report makes your Success Criteria Library not just reusable—but measurable. It gives you insight into what’s working, where your product shines, and where you may need to improve buyer experience or underlying capabilities.

Up next: we’ll wrap up with a few tips for getting the most out of Opine and scaling it effectively across your team.
