User Guide: Generating Documents with Customizable Templates in Opine

Opine's new document generation capability allows users to quickly create consistent, high-quality documents from customizable templates. Templates can include embedded prompts to Opine AI [by placing them in square brackets], these make generating tailored documents quick and efficient.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Creating and Editing Document Templates

Navigate to the Document Templates page. Here you can add new Templates and view our default template "Proof of Value Report"

Create the document with the content you want. Using square brackets will indicate to the AI to interpret a prompt to automatically complete those sections when generating the document later.

Click the Try It button, to confirm the template works as expected

Opine auto-fills each prompt using your integrated data and Opine data like plans.

2. Creating a Document from a Template

  • Navigate to the File Center for a specific opportunity or deal.

  • Click Add New

  • Select the template document, and the AI will populate the template based on your prompts

3. Editing Your Document

  • Opine supports in line editing of documents, and AI prompt based editing

  • Ask AI to rephrase, reword, or add more information as needed

4. Sharing Your Document

  • Click the Share button to share the document directly to your customer portal via the file center

  • Click Export to share the file via Google Docs instead.
